Cast Out Fear Posted bykrisshetterJuly 2, 2020July 6, 2020Posted inUncategorized View this post on Instagram You’ve written down some bold actions but do you keep seeing and hearing obstacles to taking them? . You see that cool looking chick on the motorcycle? That’s me 😂. I’m in the middle of a lesson in this picture. I’m also 54 years old at that moment. Since I was 15, I’ve wanted to get my motorcycle license. But fear stopped me. The voice of my mother stopped me. “Practicality” stopped me. The voices of “reason” stopped me. . I mentioned to my husband one fall how fun it’d be to ride a Vespa scooter. But you need a motorcycle license to do that so I halted my dream. On my 53rd birthday I opened my garage and there was a beautiful blue Vespa with a bright red bow. I was so excited I jumped out of my car forgetting to put it in park! But then I was faced with a decision— do I let this gift sit gathering dust or do I face my fears and get that license? With prayer and encouragement from my husband I stepped out in faith toward one of my dreams. It led me to a ride through the Italian alps and a new hobby to share with my husband. . It’s never too late, it’s never too difficult— with God by our side. Cast out your doubts and cast aside the naysayers! . #dreams #god #prayer #pray #christian #obstacles #triumphmotorcycles #victory #jesus A post shared by Kris Shetter (@krisshett) on Jul 2, 2020 at 7:55am PDT Share this:TwitterFacebookPinterestEmailPrintLike this:Like Loading...
